CSAD Utilizing NIST 800-88 Data Erasure Standard in place of Outdated DoD 5220.22-M
As of March 2022, CSAD has officially updated its data sanitization procedures to be compliant with NIST 800-88 Standards. NIST 800–88 is the recommended standard by the US federal government for data erasure of most media storage types and accounts for more recent technologies and technical advancements such as Solid-State Drive storage media, tablet devices, and smartphones. Unlike the outdated DoD 5220.22-M standards previously used, NIST 800-88 has been proven to more effective and efficient, and provides a wider array of data erasure standards to address all storage types from any organization.

Coming Together during COVID-19
One thing we at CSAD truly believe in is the need to come together during this time of uncertainty and to help in any way possible to improve the lives of others. This is why we partnered with The Shore Foundation to donate 9 pallets containing over 450 computer monitors, keyboards, mice, and accompanying cords to help The Shore Foundation complete their donation packages for those in need. We are honored to have worked with such an amazing organization and group of people and are constantly looking for ways we can help our community.
