Hard Drive Wiping & Data Destruction

Computer Systems Asset Disposal’s Data Cleansing and data destruction processes are fully compliant with DoD 5220.22-M standards – as well as the data destruction standards required by Sarbanes-Oxley, Gramm-Leach-Bliley, and HIPAA. More importantly, our processes for data security meet our clients’ standards for maximum protection of their intellectual property. We have never had an incident in which a client’s data has been improperly exposed or accessed.

From the moment that our insured Logistics Specialists walk through your door until the time that all of our customer’s data is erased, your equipment is never left unattended. We take the security of your information very seriously and each hard drive is individually erased to insure that your information can never end up in someone else’s hands. We have secure areas in our Asset Refinement Center in which all unerased equipment is stored until our engineers can properly cleanse the data. Upon completion of the hard drive erasure for our clients we can provide a Certificate of Data Destruction or include the date of destruction in your organization’s customized Asset Revenue Database.

Included in the Data Cleansing of any equipment is the removal of any customer asset tags, company identification, or personal effects. The equipment also gets cleaned and sanitized so that the unit will retain the maximum value when it is prepared for recommissioning.
